The Fredericktown Recreation District Education and Nature Center is located at 12 Mill Street on Whaley Park property, and is a diverse and exciting park to visit. There are striking vistas, an abundance of wildlife and vast variety of plants and trees. The Park has about 2 miles of trails intertwined throughout 48 acres of woods. The North branch of Kokosing River, which is an Ohio Scenic River, splits Whaley Park and Community Park. The Nature Center and the David S. Henry Activity Center, both on the Whaley Park property, are available for reservations by texting 740.324.9488. Each building is unique and offer settings that are perfect for weddings, family gatherings, or any small to medium sized event. Whether you are interested in bird watching, hiking, looking at the flora and fauna or just relaxing, you can find it at Whaley Park.
