This offers a unique place for visitors to stop and enjoy the diverse population of native and migratory birds in the area. A diverse population of butterflies and other insects can also be found throughout the nature area. The Ackerman Nature Preserve is a great place for everyone from photographers, to bird watchers, to people just wanting to visit and enjoy nature.
